My college-aged stepdaughter, Alana, has been staying with my new hubby and me over summer break. Gal is a sweet and intelligent girl, but I have noticed a few things I do not like about her behavior. I feel it is my role as a fresh adult influence to provide her with better examples and firm guidance. Since female is staying in my New York home over the summer, I feel guiding her with firm and loving discipline is proper. It may seem intense to some, but it is within my responsibility as a caregiver to make my stepdaughter strip out of her inappropriate, provocative clothing and discard it in the garbage. I take her over my knee, and regardless of her sex and delicateness, I discipline her with the same intensity I mete out to my hubbies. I will educate the girl a lesson woman won’t forget. Once her bum is amply red and welted, then I will take her shopping and spoil her with clothing that reflects the kind of young lady I would like her to represent.
